Work and Travel USA (WAT USA)
WAT USA allows participant to work and travel for a period of four months (4)
during the summer holidays commencing mid May through to
October 19th of
each programme year.
ELIGIBILITY
* You must
be between the ages of 18 and 40.
* Must be
a full time student.
*
You must be pursuing studies at least 2 years in duration at a recognized
tertiary level institution.
The programme is a
self arranged package which means you will have to find
your
own job and accommodation. However, you have the option of our
partners finding a placement for you at a small cost.
The Following jobs are not allowed:-
· Child Care * Medical Care *Domestic work * Camp * Flight Attendant
JOB PLACEMENT
This
facility is available through Global/CIEE . Placement can be anywhere in the USA.
We
do NOT guarantee a job in your choice of State, but we do GUARANTEE A PLACEMENT!
Most of the placements come with accommodation, if they do not we will try to assist you.

prior to arriving in the USA or upon arrival.
You do have the option of finding a job on your own.
Pre assigned job prior to leaving is compulsory.
Failure
to confirm a placement may automatically disqualify you.* speak to your Representative.
Documents
Required (USA)
1. 3 passport size photos
2. School status letter indicating
year of studies. Full time status and course of study.
3. 2 copies of the completed application form
4. Employment letter (from package if self arranged)
5. School identification card
6. A bank statement from you
or guarantor , this statement should be US$1,200 or local currency equivalent.
7. Photocopy of sections of
your passport should have your name, date of birth, validity
of passport,
date and issue of any visa.
